I just blocked someone for posting  "Running sucks". I am not f*cking  around today.
Running involves buying a LOT more lube than I ever imagined possible.
I'm 40 but I feel like I'm 20 ... Until I hang out with some 20 years olds for mile repeats. Then I'm like no, never mind, I'm 40.
My doctor: "no running for 5 weeks" Me & Lil Nas X:  "can't nobody tell me nothiiiiiing"
No one: Literally no one:  Me:  yeah i'm down for five
Me:  *crossing the finish line* Mile 26.2:  Congratulations. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
At mile 20 I thought I was dead.  At mile 22 I wished I was dead.  At mile 24 I knew I was dead.  At mile 26.2 I realized I had  become too tough to kill.
Anyone else feel personally attacked  by the non-runners when they ask  "Did you win it" after a marathon?
You either want to be a distance runner or you want skinny jeans. You really  can't have both.

Every time I go for a midday run in the park on my day off, I see an unexpectedly large number  of people doing the same  thing, and immediately start wondering what  the f*ck all these people  do for a living.
Running is for a certain body type: people with bodies.
If you went on vacation and didn't run  or race, did you even go on vacation?
The next person to say "Oh, you're only running the half", is going to get  punched in the throat.

This whole "Having a job" thing is really getting in the way of my training.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need anything  from AMAZON today.
Do you ever catch yourself being  hateful and bitter for no reason  and you're just like???? Go for  a freakin' run????
Explaining today's mile splits  to my family even though  they didn't ask and  don't care.
