There are no marathon police; you can't get arrested for going too slow. Lots of runners would like to enter a marathon, but they're afraid they'll be embarrassed. They might not finish, the other runners might make fun of them, or they might finish in last place. Well, sure, somebody's going to finish last, but it probably won't be you. These days, marathons are filled with plenty of slow runners who are simply trying to improve their lives just as I have and you can.
